introducing my Good Vibe Tribe cards

This summer, as an effort to stay grounded and spread a little light, I started a new line of handmade note cards that I call the Good Vibe Tribe. These cards are filled with kindness, humor, and positivity — tiny ambassadors of good energy in a world that sorely needs it.

Each card features my many doodles — especially the quirky characters that have been with me for years. I’ve even filled an entire sketchbook with these faces… a true “face” book!

Each card is uniquely designed and colored and carry uplifting, encouraging and inspiring messages. Creating these cards has become my personal antidote to the negativity and bad juju swirling out in the world (especially the White House). They’re my reminder — and hopefully yours — that small acts of cheer can make a difference.

You can find the Good Vibe Tribe cards right now at Uni-T — both in their Natick shop and online. They’ll also be arriving soon at the Attleboro Arts Museum, and my goal is to add them to my slowly growing Etsy shop, Virginia Creates, so stay tuned for that!

March is Women's History month and today is International Women's Day.

International Women's Day (IWD) is celebrated annually on March 8.
The day has occurred for well over a century, with the first IWD gathering in 1911.
The day is not country, group or organization specific -

In 1908 great unrest and critical debate was occurring amongst women. Women's oppression and inequality was spurring women to become more vocal and active in campaigning for change. Then in 1908, 15,000 women marched through New York City demanding shorter hours, better pay and voting rights.
