In conjunction with the Natick Artists Open Studios (Oct. 4-5) some Natick artists have contributed to a show at the Natick Collection which was inspired by the shopping bag. This show will be running the month of August and there will be a Meet and Greet this Thursday, Aug. 14th from 6:30 – 8:30. When I heard about this idea I thought that I would make a 'bag' dress but as the piece evolved it turned into a bustiere!!! Which I love because one of my thoughts when beginning this project was that recycling; being environmentally conscience; asking for paper instead of plastic is sexy!!!
So if you can, come by the ‘meet and greet’ or stop by the mall sometime this month. The exhibit is exciting and playful!! peace
